Talks & Keynotes

I speak about how people and systems respond to disruption, and especially about why real adaptation is not about bouncing back to what was before, but about using disruption to re-evaluate what no longer works and change course. During a talk, audiences are invited to challenge common assumptions about crisis, uncertainty, and change, and to develop a different understanding of what genuine adaptation requires. The Transilience® perspective has been featured on TEDx, and it has been applied across several domains, including leadership during challenging times, policy making in the Caribbean, energy transition, climate anxiety, women’s empowerment, digital product design, and organizational transformation. It is relevant anywhere people are being asked to navigate uncertainty, complexity, and transition.

  • “Without her talk, the event would not have delivered on its main goal: empowering people to take on challenges. Valentina combines professionalism with a rare ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and inspiring way to both experts and non-experts. Participants were highly engaged and expressed strong interest in continuing the conversation beyond the talk.”

    — Lorenzo Squintani, Director of Wubbo Ockels School of Energy and Climate

  • "Valentina was an excellent speaker at our International Women’s event. Her insights gave language to thoughts and feelings many of us cannot articulate. She speaks with clarity and authenticity. The audience and myself were impressed by her talk because she deeply connected personal experiences of crisis to universal aspects of everyday life, making it relatable and meaningful for everyone. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a speaker: she connects deeply and effortlessly with the room."
